Monthly Betenu President’s Message
Sheryl Liberman – July 1, 2015

Encourage your family to celebrate with our community
Time for renewing old connections and making new ones
Early family Shabbat services
New Year preparations begun for High Holidays and Religious School
Unique opportunities for all to participate

While temps heat up, swimming pools swarm with those cooling off, and kids fill their idle time with play, Betenu’s pace slows a bit but does not stop! Behind the scenes, plans are being set for the 2015-2016 year. Shabbat services continue in a relaxed pace with Rav Rebekah leading us in beautiful prayer and song once a month. The Ed committee plunges ahead to get set for Sunday school classes, b’nei mitzvah updates, craft presentations and more. Restaurant fundraisers continue.

How have you contributed to our last year’s accomplishments? There remains many opportunities for everyone to participate and contribute—from small to large tasks. I hope to have seen you at our “clean up”—small hands make large work. And, please join us in the peace of Shabbat on Friday nights. Summer is a wonderful respite for all—come to Betenu and share your joys (and oys) with us!
